Even if we don't always realize it, our places of origin can be determined by the way we speak. Obviously, this is true because of the different languages of the world. But there are nuanced ways of speaking that can be found in certain locales. We can wander away from the place but the speaking habits will follow us for the rest of our lives (barring voice coaching).
